After Week 7, 40 of the 106 FCS teams have been eliminated from consideration for an at-large bid. Southern Illinois is the third 2009 playoff participant to be eliminated in the 2010 season. There are now 26 additional teams on the bubble that cannot lose a remaining D1 game. Jacksonville State is the first team to reach 7 D1 wins.
